2022 will mark the final deliveries of the Lamborghini Aventador with the Ultimae LP 780-4 Coupe (350 units) and roadster (250 units). The Ultimae brings together the technical and dynamic know-how of Lamborghini’s V12-engined flagship from nearly 11-years of production. Lamborghini’s modern flagship dream machine was first launched as the Aventador LP700-4 in 2011. Since then, new, exciting, and more advanced variants were released; all the while maintaining the desirable brilliance as the pinnacle super sportscar. Aventador brought with it notable innovations, here are some of the highlights.

    Carbon Fiber
The Aventador was made with a carbon fiber monocoque (car cockpit, floor, and roof) – a first for Lamborghini supercars. Lamborghini’s production techniques saw it catapult to the forefront of composite productions and was the first company to produce a large number of carbon-fiber elements in-house. When combined with its front and rear aluminum subframes, the [...]

Unlock Countless new Roads – The Success of the Lamborghini Urus

Four years since its international debut, the world’s first Super SUV remains a desirable and proven titan for the roads and trails across the world.

Four years since its international debut, the world’s first Super SUV remains a desirable and proven titan for the roads and trails across the world. More than 15,000 units have been produced since production began, making the Urus is one of Lamborghini’s most successful high-performance luxury vehicles to date.

Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the Urus outputs a staunch 650 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h is reached in as low as 3.5-seconds and top speeds are more than 300 km/h. These performance figures comfortably see the SSUV fit in with its stablemates Aventador and Huracán, but with the added versatility and ability to drive across more rugged terrains than its super sportscar siblings. Beyond this, Urus has positioned itself at the top of new and competitive segments of luxury performance vehicles while standing out most for its performance abilities and unmistakable Lamborghini [...]

Lightweight, strong, and aesthetic; Lamborghini’s use of composites and carbon make for significant performance benefits in all its road and race vehicles. This has all culminated together to keep Lamborghini at the forefront of this sector for more than 35 years, with many more exciting and innovative milestones to come.

The ‘Esperienza Materiali Compositi’ Department (E.Co) was first established in 1983 and utilized know-how from Boeing’s development of carbon fiber and Kevlar in the 767. The Countach Evoluzione development prototype hit the roads four years later and sported a carbon fiber chassis and body components that lead to a total weight savings of nearly 500 kg and a captivating starting point for [...]

In 1971, the world was awestruck by Automobili Lamborghini’s stunning Countach LP 500. The overwhelming praise received from the automotive world convinced Ferruccio Lamborghini and his company to put the car into production. After three years of development, the first Countach LP400 was sold. During development, the original LP 500 prototype was sacrificed in crash testing, never to be seen again in a cohesive operating state – until now.

As of this year, the Countach LP 500 makes a glorious return to reality, a fitting and emotional way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its original debut. The story of its resurrection starts at the end of 2017 when a passionate Lamborghini owner began collaborating with Polo Storico on the feasibility of reconstructing the Countach LP 500. Polo Storico ultimately worked 25,000 cumulative hours to complete the exciting project. Countless documents and photos were collected to study, [...]
